Hello,
my name is Mac, and I am a mechanical engineer who loves the outdoors.
I have been taking things apart and putting them back together for as long as I can remember.
I spent most of my free time as a child in my dad’s woodshop, where I would spend hours working on some new creation. These would usually be rideable toys made out of old bicycles and scrap plywood, and I had endless hours of fun with them. one of my favorite things to do was find old bikes at the dump and turn them into something new, like this “drift trike” that I made.
Or this “Motorcycle” that I made from my friends old gas-powered scooter and yet another old bike. My passion for making new and interesting rideable contraptions has never gone away, and it eventually led me to pursue a career in engineering.
I received my B.S. in mechanical engineering with a design concentration from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in May of 2021.
At WPI, I formed new interests, skills, and connections that helped me grow into the person I am today.
